Contributions to the common good
As with most people, most companies have a general sense that contributing to the common good is, well … a good thing. When we started Jiva, it was a really important part of our founding philosophy that the company should consider occasional not-for-profit work. Of course, over time those contributions can come under pressure as commercial reality kicks in, but I am really pleased and proud of the work that we’ve done in collaboration with South Bristol Digital Neighbourhoods, a project that’s looking to complement local regeneration efforts by bringing increased digital access to South Bristol. The development team have worked hard to deliver a tailored version of our specializein.com platform to support existing project efforts. We’re all watching with interest to see how things develop.
